Richard A. Weidrick, CPA/PFS

A graduate of Case Western Reserve University, Rich is the firm’s Managing Partner and has over twenty-five years of accounting, tax, and banking experience. He consults frequently on business valuation, financing and acquisitions, and he leads the financial services unit at SWM.

Rich, is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the OhioSociety of Certified Public Accountants. He holds the AICPA’s Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) Credential, which is granted exclusively to CPAs who have the powerful combination of extensive tax expertise and comprehensive knowledge of all areas of financial planning.

Jay Wynne

James A. Wynne, CPA

James (Jay) is a certified public accountant with nearly 30 years of experience in industry and financial services. After obtaining his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from The Ohio State University, he served with the U.S. Army in the Persian Gulf during Operation Desert Shield/Storm. Following his service, he worked as an Accountant and Division Controller at a publicly-traded automotive supplier based in Northeast Ohio. During that time, he was involved with financial reporting, strategic business planning, budgeting, and operations support for three different manufacturing facilities.

Jay began working in financial services at Merrill Lynch in 2000. In 2009 he became an independent advisor and joined SWM in 2019. His focus is to work with clients to implement an investment plan that fits their objectives, risk tolerance, time horizon, and overall financial situation. As part of the investment management process, he enjoys tracking the economy, individual business sectors, and specific companies daily.

Jay is a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Megan D. Eberhart, CFA

Megan is a chartered financial analyst with nearly nine years of experience in investments and financial services.  She earned her bachelor’s degree in Economics from Princeton University and MBA from The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business.  Megan started her career on the buy-side, both at State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio and Point72 Asset Management in New York.  Most recently, she worked as a Portfolio Manager at Johnson Investment Counsel.

Megan is a member and former board member of the CFA Society of Columbus.

Tyler M. Paalman

Tyler graduated from Kent State University with a degree in finance and economics. He joined SWM in 2019 and became an Investment Advisor Representative in 2021. Tyler’s focus is client service.
